Export a CSV file
To export a CSV file using Ply, map a table into the step’s input. The step output is a file URL that initiates the download of a CSV file.
Common use-cases
Map the URL into the step “Open a URL” to download the file
Use the URL as an attachment in an email.
Step-by-step instructions
Select the table you wish to export as a CSV.
Test the step by clicking “See sample data”.
Ply provides a URL. You can use this URL, for example, in an interface with a button or a hyperlink.
Example 1
Imagine your feature generated a table with data about monthly sales. After selecting this table for export, Ply generates a URL. Accessing this URL downloads a file named "Monthly_Sales.csv," containing your table's data.
