Creating add-on features in Attio and other apps
Ply allows you to create custom Attio powered features into Attio, Gmail, Zendesk, Intercom and tons of other apps. Build the exact functionality your team needs, where they need it. Combine custom interfaces, logic and AI.
To create an add-on:
Go to the app where you want to create it (like Attio, Gmail, Zendesk or Intercom)
Click the Ply extension and then click “Create an add-on”.
You can also create them from Ply's web app.
Creating customer portal connected to Attio
Ply portals are powerful form-like customer experiences that are connected to your Attio data in real time. You can route based on Attio data, display data directly from Attio, add or update contacts, deals and more.
To create a portal with Attio data:
Go to Ply’s webapp and create “create feature”, then choose Portal.
Add Attio actions at any stage in your workflow by searching for Attio and choosing the relevant action.
Map data from Attio to interfaces or data from interfaces to Attio.
Connecting Ply and Attio
Account connections are credentials that let your Ply features access data in your apps. You’ll need to create a connection with your Attio account in order to build features using Attio data.
When creating an add-on in Attio, or adding an Attio step in a feature, click “create new connection”
A modal will appear to connect Attio. you should see the different accounts you have. If not, you will need to log in before you see this page.
Select the account you’d like to connect with Ply. After a few moments Ply will be successfully connected to your Attio account. Give it a name and save it in the space of your choice.
