The search block uses an app connection to provide your users a search experience in an interface

Add a search block to an interface
Choose the app you want to search in, and then choose a connection to be used for the search
Select the item type you want to search – these might be contacts, tickets, records, etc. Note that searching by primary field (name) is usually the only supported option.
Depending on your chosen item type, you may need to enter or map further values, like the table or the contact group to search in.
