How to use these attributes

When building or editing a workflow, you can select these attributes as dynamic data sources for various steps. This allows for personalized workflow actions, such as sending emails with user-specific content, adjusting for time zones, or logging workflow executions with precise timestamps.

Common use-cases

  • Personalization: Use the Running User's name and email to personalize communication sent through the workflow.

  • Scheduling: Utilize the user or workspace's timezone to schedule actions at appropriate local times.

  • Logging activity: Record workflow executions with precise timestamps to track activity.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Select a step: Choose a step where you want to use an attribute.

  2. Map Data: When mapping data for the step, select the appropriate attribute from the "Runtime & user attributes" section.

  3. Configure: Tailor the step's behavior based on the attribute data.
