How to Connect Ply with HubSpot
Create custom team features inside HubSpot that streamline complex processes and supercharge productivity, or connect your HubSpot data with customer portals.
Create a connection with HubSpot
Account connections are credentials stored in Ply that let your features access data in your apps. You’ll need to create a connection with your HubSpot account in order to build features using HubSpot data or to create add-ons in your HubSpot.
From the Ply homepage, click the ‘Connections’ tab in the left hand bar.
Click ‘Add Connection’ and from here you can select any of your apps to create a connection with.
Search and select ‘HubSpot’ from the list.
At this point a pop-up will appear. If you’re already logged in to HubSpot you should see the different accounts you have. If not, you will need to log in before you see this page.
Select the account you’d like to connect with Ply.
After a few moments Ply will be successfully connected to your HubSpot account.
Back in Ply you’ll need to save the connection, making sure to give it a name and saving in the space of your choice.
And that’s it, you now have a secure connection between Ply and your chosen HubSpot account.
Creating an add-on feature in HubSpot
Ply lets you add features directly into the apps that you and your team use with your custom functionality and business logic.
Create an add-on by clicking on the Ply extension when in your HubSpot account. You can also create them from Ply's webapp.
If you have your connection saved you can select from the dropdown list and start creating your add-on feature.
Or you can choose to create a new connection.
Connecting HubSpot in a portal
When building a portal you can add integrated actions at any stage in your workflow.
When adding a new step, click to see all integrations and search for your chosen HubSpot action.
When you select a HubSpot action you’ll be asked to choose your account connection.
If you have your connection saved you can select from the dropdown list and complete setting up the action.
Or you can choose to create a new connection.
